Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Wooster, OH team. You will work on the production floor and maintenance areas, focusing on maintaining and repairing equipment used to transform sheet metal into HVAC components.

This role requires hands-on troubleshooting and safety-conscious work habits. Key responsibilities include preventative maintenance, machine installation, and repairs across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; craft apprenticeship preferred.
• Associate's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance advantageous.
• At least three years of manufacturing equipment maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is required.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Adherence to safety regulations and ability to maintain a clean work environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and different shifts as necessary.
• Ability to respond promptly to equipment and building emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill maintenance work orders and conduct preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Perform both emergency and scheduled maintenance repairs on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and enhance mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose issues, replace or repair components, and adjust machinery and workstations.
• Identify faulty operations or defective materials and report them for further action.
