Job summary

Camping World is hiring a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) to diagnose and repair RV coach systems, generators, and related mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance issues. Qualified applicants will be self-motivated, detail oriented, and experienced across RV service disciplines.

We support certification for qualified employees and encourage those with plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical or RV service experience to apply.

Qualifications

  • Certification from college or technical school in a trade field or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of service technician experience in related fields.
  • RVIA certification helpful but not required.
  • Ability to safely work at heights and with electrical/welding equipment.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, bend for prolonged periods.
  • Must furnish own hand/shop tools.
  • Must lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
  • Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance.
  • Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
  • Keep supervisor appraised of work progress.
  • Ensure final work product meets quality standards and is inspected as required.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.

Job Overview

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) to join our growing team. The role focuses on advanced diagnostic and repair of RV coach systems, generators, coach body repairs, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance issues. Successful candidates will be self‑motivated, detail oriented, and experienced in all maintenance and repairs. Camping World pays for certification for qualified employees.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $22.00–$53.94 hourly.
