Job summary

Freshpack is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our growing production team on the Monday–Friday schedule with a 2nd shift (4:00pm–2:30am, M-Th, with overtime on Fridays when needed).

You will apply your knowledge of electrical/control circuits, pneumatics, ladder logic, and mechanical skills to maintain and improve our cheese packaging lines, ensure safety, and support operation readiness.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in electrical and control circuits
• Experience with pneumatics and ladder logic
• Ability to read blueprints and install/repair electrical systems
• Strong mechanical skills and problem solving
• Experience with sanitary design and TIG welding

Responsibilities

• Understand electrical including primary and control circuits
• Work on pneumatics, ladder logic, and electrical installations and repairs
• Perform mechanical maintenance and blueprint reading
• Troubleshoot, repair, and address root cause of machine deficiencies
• Monitor machines during production and assist in training operators
• Install and setup new equipment
• Maintain machinery per specifications
• Suggest/improve equipment operations

We have openings for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position would have knowledge in a wide variety of maintenance-related fields to ensure a safe working environment, increase productivity, and ensure accuracy.

Freshpack is a custom cheese packaging company that develops and innovates cheese products and packaging. Our products can be found in all 50 states and in most major retailers. Over the past 25 years, our team has grown from 15 to 230+ employees. It is an exciting time to join our team, as we are poised for substantial growth over the next 3-5 years.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Understanding of electrical including primary and control circuits
• Pneumatics
