Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Purina Animal Nutrition manufacturing site in Minnesota. You will perform maintenance on facility and production equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation and product quality.

The role requires 1 year of industrial maintenance experience, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to read and follow manuals. This is a 2nd shift position with overtime, weekend work as needed.

• Able to multi-task and keep up with demands in a fast-paced environment.

Maintenance Technician Pay: $35.75 per hour +$2.00 premium for Boiler Certification plus Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour (if applicable) Hiring Bonus: $500 after 30 days, $1000 after 6 months. Total Hiring bonus $1,500. Shift & Working Hours: 2nd Shift; 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.

In this role, you’ll be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing maintenance of the facility and production equipment to ensure our plants can add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You’ll be responsible for the installation, ongoing maintenance, and necessary repairs for the facility and the production equipment. You will work with a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and controls. Join our team to become part of a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow. Key Responsibilities:

Required Experience and Skills:

• Must be 18 years or older
• 1 year of industrial or building facility maintenance experience
• Basic computer and math skills
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and product manuals
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
• Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful

Preferred Experience:

• 1 to 3+ years’ experience working with basic electrical systems, compressors, welding, plumbing, conveyers, hydraulics, packaging, PLC, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and pumps. Boiler Certification (2B preferred or special) LOTO experience Forklift experience

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
