Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months to one year related experience or training.
• Basic computer skills including data entry and familiarity with property management software.
• Valid State Issued Driver's License; HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance checks.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
• Read and comprehend maintenance manuals and service bulletins for repairs or replacements.
• Complete maintenance service requests as assigned.
• Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments as directed.
• Assist in monitoring work by outside contractors.
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service responses.
• Carry on-call cell phone as required.
• Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.
• Alert the Property Manager to unusual occurrences or damage.
• Complete grounds work as directed, including trash, sweeping, pressure washing, dumpsters, and landscaping.
• Complete quarterly unit-by-unit inspections.
