Job summary

Stark Enterprises is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support daily upkeep and event setups at our Cleveland, Ohio property. You will respond to work orders and assist with repairs, keeping the site clean, safe, and functional for tenants and staff.

You will operate standard tools, assist with signage, and contribute to ongoing maintenance projects while upholding safety and reliability across the team.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in facilities or maintenance operations.
• Entry-level experience in maintenance, repair, or construction-related work.
• Familiarity with basic tools and equipment.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed.
• Clear communication and follow-through.
• Team-oriented with a proactive attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable on ladders, lifts, and heights.
• Able to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.
• Able to bend, kneel, sweep, and perform repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor site for safety or security concerns and report to supervisors.
• Demonstrate company values.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by supervisor.

The Maintenance Technician I supports the daily upkeep and operations of the property by performing general maintenance tasks, responding to work orders, and assisting with event setups. This role plays a key part in ensuring the property remains clean, functional, and safe for tenants, staff, and visitors, while supporting the broader maintenance team in delivering reliable service and upkeep.

Essential Functions:

General Maintenance & Operations:

• Respond promptly to common area and tenant work orders.
• Complete light painting and general repair tasks across the property.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the maintenance shop and work areas.
• Assist with the installation and upkeep of site signage.
• Remain alert to safety or maintenance concerns and report issues as needed.

Equipment Operation:

• Safely operate tools and equipment including pressure washers, scissors lifts, bucket lifts, and forklifts (as trained).
• Use basic hand and power tools effectively for maintenance needs.

Event & Site Support:

• Participate in the setup and breakdown of on-site special events.
• Support with tasks that promote safety, cleanliness, and event success.
• Monitor the site for safety or security concerns and report to supervisors as necessary.

Other:

• Demonstrate the company’s core values consistently.
• Complete all additional tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or company.
