Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to support the maintenance and operation of building systems inside a client facility. You will repair, maintain, and improve MHE and robotic systems to ensure smooth distribution operations.

The role requires problem-solving skills, 1 year related experience, and proficiency with MS Office and tools. This is an on-site position in Maryland with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be authorized to work in United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.
• Ability to solve problems and follow general instructions in standard situations.
• Able to move up to 50 lbs and perform stairs/ladder climbing with/without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to all MHE, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with Client and Maintenance teams.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed.

About The Role

In this vital role, you will supportthe maintenance and operation of the building systems inside a client facility.You will repair, maintain, and continuouslyimprove functionality of material handling equipment (MHE) androbotic systems throughout the facility.

What You'll Do

• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

• Ability to solve problems and carry out general instructions in standard situations such as; routine maintenance, repairs, preventative measures, emergency responses, coordination, and safety compliance.
• Ability to move up to 50lbs and physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs / ladders with or without reasonable accommodation.

PreferredQualifications

• Associate's or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the mechanical or electrical field.
• 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.
• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• 2+ years' experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 2+ years' experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 2+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading
• 2+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles
• 2+ year experience of following and demonstrating safety standards
• 1+ year experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems

The minimum salary for the position is $65,707 annually [or $31.59 per hour] and the maximum salary for the position is $73,008 annually [or $35.10 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
