Job summary

DMI Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep advanced manufacturing equipment running at peak efficiency. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, programming, and repairs of robotics and automated systems on our production lines to minimize downtime and maximize safety.

You will perform troubleshooting, installations, and ongoing improvements, while documenting work, coordinating with teams, and supporting continuous improvement across the plant.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting in an industrial environment.
• Proficiency with welding, reading blueprints, wiring panels and PLCs.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.

Overview

The Maintenance Technician ensures overall machine and system efficiency through performance of best-practice Preventive Maintenance (PM), projects, programming, and repairs, with a focus on advanced technology equipment such as robotics and automated systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, programming, and repairs to minimize downtime on industrial production lines
• Install, modify and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems
• Respond to scheduled maintenance tasks and emergency repair situations
• Maintain accurate inventory and other documentation
• Communicate and collaborate effectively to support continuous improvement and drive overall plant performance

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting in an industrial environment
• Proficiency with welding, reading blueprints, wiring panels and PLCs
• Demonstrated reliability with strong attendance and work ethic
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work
• Capability to work in challenging industrial environments (heat, noise, heights, etc.)
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
