Job summary

Apex Entertainment Virginia Beach is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to keep our facility, attractions, and grounds operating at peak performance. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, respond to service calls, and help ensure guest safety, with opportunities for advancement and free access to Apex attractions.

Must have a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and be 18 or older; flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude or background preferred.
• Experience in amusement industry maintenance is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to adapt and respond to shifting priorities.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule - including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• General Maintenance: Perform corrective maintenance to minimize equipment and facility downtime.
• General Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventative maintenance to maintain a polished, like-new appearance.
• General Maintenance: Handle service calls for pinsetters and other equipment, resolving minor malfunctions and recording issues on daily logs.
• General Maintenance: Maintain and service Go-Karts and other amusement attractions as needed.
• Facility Upkeep: Assist in keeping the entire facility clean, safe, and up to Apex standards.
• Facility Upkeep: Ensure the workshop remains organized and presentable.
• Facility Upkeep: Clean and maintain bowling pins and lane machinery.
• Reporting & Safety: Communicate potential equipment issues to the Facility Maintenance Manager.
• Reporting & Safety: Maintain detailed logs for daily, weekly, monthly, and annual attraction inspections.
• Reporting & Safety: Follow all safety procedures and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Reporting & Safety: Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Apex Entertainment is looking for a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the appearance, functionality, and safety of our buildings, grounds, and amusement attractions - ensuring our facility operates at the highest standard each day.

Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in minimizing downtime, performing preventative maintenance, and keeping the entire facility clean, safe, and operating efficiently. You’ll help ensure every guest enjoys a well-maintained, like-new environment from the moment we open.

Key Responsibilities:

General Maintenance
