ImageFIRST is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in a 12pm–8:30pm shift. You will perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facilities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe, efficient operations within a healthcare-focused linen service environment.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, ability to read blueprints, and commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic systems.

• Proficient in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Due to tremendous growth throughout the company, we are seeking a Maintenance Technician with critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to join our team!

Pay: $25 - $35 hourly, depending on experience

Schedule: 12pm -8:30pm

Key Responsibilities

1. Preventive Maintenance & Equipment Support Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment, facility systems, and support equipment. Assist with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility-related issues. Complete assigned maintenance work orders accurately and efficiently while minimizing equipment downtime. Support equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance concerns before failures occur.

2. Facility Maintenance & Repairs Perform general building maintenance including basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, and facility repairs. Maintain production equipment, work areas, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations. Assist with equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance projects as assigned.

3. Safety & Operational Excellence Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and departmental procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work environment. Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and report safety concerns promptly. Support ImageFIRST's commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

4. Inventory & Documentation Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and repair documentation. Assist with ordering and organizing maintenance parts, tools, and supplies. Properly maintain maintenance equipment and company tools.

5. Teamwork & Continuous Learning Work collaboratively with Production, Operations, and fellow Maintenance Technicians to support production goals. Participate in technical training and continuously develop maintenance knowledge and skills. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Working knowledge, education or experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Electrical systems
  • Mechanical systems
  • Hydraulic & pneumatic systems
  • Plumbing
  • Carpentry
  • HVAC
  • Welding
  • Piping systems
  • PLC programming
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
• High school diploma or equivalent or technical school training preferred
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required
• Regular, consistent attendance of scheduled shifts is required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
• Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds
• Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots
