Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, in Georgia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep machines, equipment, buildings and grounds safe and efficient for continuous production. You will remove/install components, troubleshoot systems, and collaborate with operators to prevent downtime.

Applicants should have at least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, be able to work from heights, lift up to 40 lbs, and be proficient with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical

Responsibilities

  • Removes and installs electric, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical machine components to ensure safe operation.
  • Troubleshoots electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems to determine causes and recommends repairs.
  • Removes and installs machine components to ensure safe operation.
  • Troubleshoots all systems to determine causes of failure and recommends repairs.
  • Collaborates with Machine Operators, Process Technicians, and Material Handlers to understand failures.
  • Designs, fabricates, and welds machine components or fixtures for proper functionality.

The Maintenance Technician maintains the safety and functionality of machines, equipment, building and grounds to ensure efficient production of products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Removes and installs electric, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical machine components to ensure the safe and efficient operation of production equipment
  • Troubleshoots electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems to determine causes of machine or equipment failure and recommends solutions for repair
  • Removes and installs machine components to ensure the safe and efficient operation of production equipment
  • Troubleshoots allsystems to determine causes of machine or equipment failure and recommends solutions for repair
  • Collaborates with Machine Operators, Process Technicians, and Material Handlers to understand the nature of machine failures or component fabrication needs
  • Designs, fabricates, and welds machine components or fixtures to ensure the proper functionality of facility equipment
  • Records the details of machine malfunctions and the appropriate adjustments as required
  • Conducts test runs of machine adjustments to ensure proper machine functionality and alignment with quality standards
  • Maintains the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of maintenance equipment, tools and work areas
  • Repairs building and grounds equipment, fixtures and tools as necessary to ensure the safety of all employees
  • Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on facility equipment as scheduled
  • Provides information to contractors regarding maintenance related functions
  • Completes all required safety permits, assessments, and practices relating to assigned tasks
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

Job Requirements

  • Working from heights experience, preferred
  • Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems
  • At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Experience with a maintenance management system
  • Ability to communicate verbally or in writing
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
