Farmer Focus is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance in our poultry processing facility. You will work on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to keep equipment running safely and reliably.
This full-time, on-site role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and readiness to respond to emergency maintenance within 30 minutes. Experience in food processing is preferred.

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing daily maintenance tasks, preventative maintenance, repairs, equipment adjustments, installations, and special projects that support Farmer Focus’s production and business operations. This role helps ensure machinery and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and reliably within the poultry processing environment. The Industrial Maintenance Technician plays an important role in reducing downtime, maintaining equipment performance, supporting production continuity, and helping create a safe, clean, and well‑maintained work environment. This position requires strong mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and respond to emergency maintenance needs.

New team members must be able to pass a drug, alcohol and background screening post‑offer and prior to the start of their employment. Work is conducted primarily in a manufacturing and poultry production environment. This role requires access to the production environment and may require work in all departments of the processing plant. The team member must be able to tolerate varying heat, wet, damp and chill conditions within the plant. Hearing and eye protective equipment are required in the production area. Hair and beard nets are required in the production area. Additional personal protective equipment may be required based on task, location, and safety requirements. This position may require the use of hand tools, power tools, precision instruments, electrical and electronic testing devices, welding and cutting equipment, shop equipment, and other maintenance‑related tools. The role may also require standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, lifting, working near machinery, and working with or near animal blood.
