Job summary

Plymouth, MI-based Maintenance Technician role supporting production and facility operations. You will troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain production equipment while upholding safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, interpreting schematics, responding to breakdowns, operating forklifts, maintaining parts inventory, and supporting mold changes and basic trades. Overtime is available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Lift up to 75 lbs and work overtime as needed.

1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 40 Hours/Week

Overview

Our client seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support production and facility operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining production equipment while ensuring workplace safety and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders.

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and support emergency repairs.

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.

• Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.

• Assist with mold changes and facility maintenance projects.
