Job summary

Fellowship Square Tucson, a not-for-profit senior living community, is seeking a hardworking MAINTENANCE TECH to perform routine maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and related trades. You will participate in after-hours on-call rotations and handle work orders to ensure safe, comfortable living spaces for residents.

The role requires 1–2 years of maintenance experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and strong communication with elderly residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in maintenance work.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work alone or in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the facility and equipment (plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical work).
• Be part of the after-hours on-call rotation.
• Complete work orders and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
• Must be able to acquire a fingerprint clearance card from the State of AZ within the first month of employment.
• Must be available to work varying shifts.

We are Fellowship Square Tucson, a not-for-profit senior living community seeking a hardworking, dedicated MAINTENANCE TECH to join our Christian Care Family. We are looking for responsible, professional individuals who want to provide a superior hospitality and customer service experience for our residents who call us home, rather than doing "just a job".

This position would be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on the facility and equipment, including plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical work, as directed and in accordance with established procedures, and for being part of the after-hours on-call rotation.

• Ability to do plumbing, painting, electrical, carpentry, and drywall.
• Complete work orders and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
• Ability to self-direct work.
• Ability to communicate with and relate well to the elderly.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in maintenance work. Prior professional experience with commercial and/or residential property maintenance a plus.
• Ability to acquire a fingerprint clearance card from the State of AZ within the first month of employment.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to work well alone or in a team environment.
• Must be available to work varying shifts as needed.
• Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant action and to remain calm during emergency situations.
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors, and the general public.
• Must be a team player.
• Hard worker.
