Related Affordable is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for Burt Farms, a 51-unit multi-family community in Warwick, NY. You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks while ensuring safety and quality in resident-ready spaces.

You will join a team focused on service excellence, be part of on-call rotations, and contribute to a thriving community with room for skill growth and advancement. Must lift up to 50 lbs and participate in emergency duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in general maintenance or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely manner and interact with residents to ensure their needs are met.
• Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within established time frames.
• Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds, addressing safety issues immediately with management.
• Conduct advanced routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Perform cleaning and upkeep of common areas and grounds.
• Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as needed.
• Inspect property and address maintenance concerns proactively.
• Assist in emergency repairs as directed by supervisors and rotate on-call for emergency maintenance.
• Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and report any shortages.

You’ll perform a variety of maintenance tasks, from plumbing and electrical repairs to HVAC and carpentry work, all while upholding our high standards for quality and safety.

ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE:

• $20.00 - $22.00 / hour
• Annual Performance Bonus
• This position is Non-Exempt, meaning eligible for overtime pay
  
  

This range is provided as a general guideline and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, geographical location, and the specific responsibilities of the role. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Final compensation offers will be determined following a thorough assessment of the candidate’s background and the requirements of the position.
