Job summary

Cortex Process Equipment in Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform machine, building and facility maintenance, including installs, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.

Essential functions include emergency repairs during production, setting up machinery for runs, and mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting. OSHA compliance and adherence to company policies are required.

Maintenance Technician conducts machine, building and facility maintenance service; encompassing installs, troubleshooting, repairs and preventative.

Essential Functions:

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service


• Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs


• Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machinery


• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service


• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for Tyler facilities and buildings


• Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules


• Actively promote and personally observe all company policies, employee handbook, safety and security procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent


• 2 years electrical experience


• Technical training


• At least 5 years of maintenance experience


• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing or similar work environment
