Job summary

Milestone Retirement is seeking a Maintenance Technician in The Dalles, Oregon, to perform preventative maintenance and respond to resident maintenance requests. You’ll ensure the community remains safe, functional, and welcoming for residents and staff.

The role covers maintaining HVAC systems, elevators, fire/sprinkler equipment, generators, and related kitchen equipment, along with general plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and repairs. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in building or community maintenance preferred.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and respond to requests.
• Strong safety and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair community systems including HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cords
• Perform general maintenance projects such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and equipment repair
