Job summary

IFF Health in Terre Haute, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process equipment on-site. You will troubleshoot pumps, piping, valves, motors, and conveyors while supporting millwright activities and installation projects.

The role requires a 5+ year industrial maintenance background, with strong electrical and control system troubleshooting.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong mechanical maintenance experience with pumps and rotating equipment.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical systems, motors, and instrumentation.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics; PLC knowledge helpful.
  • Experience with CMMS or SAP; strong teamwork and safety focus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair pumps, piping systems, valves, motors, conveyors, and other equipment.
  • Support millwright activities including alignments, rebuilds, fabrication, and installation projects.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system issues to minimize downtime.
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and process control devices.
  • Support PLC and automation troubleshooting activities in partnership with engineering and operations teams.
  • Execute maintenance work orders and accurately document maintenance activities within SAP.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and reliability teams to improve equipment performance.
