Job summary

Targa Real Estate Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Tacoma, WA. This full-time role supports property upkeep, preventative maintenance, and timely response to service requests to ensure high tenant satisfaction and safety.

The technician will perform repairs, assist in preparing units for new tenants, and maintain common areas while complying with safety regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of experience in multi-family maintenance or related field.
• Knowledge of basic turn requirements such as painting, drywall repair, troubleshooting appliances, and basic plumbing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service when interacting with tenants.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Availability for on-call emergency maintenance as needed.
• HVAC certification or relevant trade certifications preferred but not required.
• Basic tools to complete daily tasks.
