Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in Indiana is seeking Maintenance Technicians to keep our facilities safe, clean, and well-maintained while assisting the manager to ensure smooth operations for customers. No experience? We will teach you!

This role involves cleaning, stocking, and maintaining HVAC, fuel systems, service trucks, refrigeration, and plumbing, with opportunities for cross-training in Store Cashier and Leadership roles. Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist with issue resolution to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist store, restaurant, and truck care departments with cleaning, maintenance, stocking, and customer service needs.
• Operate and maintain facility equipment (HVAC, fuel systems, service trucks, refrigeration, plumbing, etc.).
• Support cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.

Job Functions

• This is a customer-facing position with general customer service duties including, but not limited to, providing assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.


• Assisting store, restaurant, and truck care departments with general cleaning, maintenance, stocking, and customer service needs.


• Use of various tools and equipment to clean and maintain the overall facility operations to include, but not limited to, equipment repair and maintenance (HVAC systems, fuel systems, service trucks, refrigeration systems, etc.), pressure washing, plumbing repair, site inspections, and other assigned duties.


• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.


• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.


• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
