Job summary

U.S. Silica in Sparta, Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Night Shift Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems at our Sparta plant. This role supports safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

The Maintenance Technician works with Operations and other maintenance team members to identify equipment issues, complete scheduled maintenance, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Night hours are 6PM–6AM.

Qualifications

• Preventive maintenance and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Troubleshooting and installation of production equipment.
• Work safely in an industrial/mining environment.

Responsibilities

Job description

U.S. Silica is seeking an experienced Night Shift Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Sparta, Wisconsin plant. This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems and production equipment to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

The Maintenance Technician works closely with Operations and other Maintenance team members to identify equipment issues, complete scheduled maintenance, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong industrial maintenance experience, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work safely in a mining and industrial environment.

Hours: Night Shift 6PM - 6AM
