Job summary

Sotera Health Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine daily maintenance and preventative maintenance on processing equipment. The role requires diagnosing mechanical failures, data collection, and timely repairs to restore operations.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, 5 years of maintenance experience in a processing/manufacturing environment, and the ability to read electrical diagrams and electrical drawings. Strong safety compliance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five years of maintenance experience in a processing/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings; knowledge of 480-volt 3 Phase power; ladder logic knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine daily maintenance activities for the facility and scheduled preventative maintenance on processing equipment as directed by the Supervisor.
• Identifies problems, collects data, and carries out repairs to restore equipment to operational status.
• Identifies materials needed, sources pricing, and processes purchase orders with Supervisor approval.
• Interfaces with operations personnel regarding work orders and outside contractors as necessary.
• Adheres to all facility safety programs.
• Assists with other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
