Job summary

Seaway Plastics Engineering is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Santa Rosa, CA facility. You will perform routine and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment, including injection molding systems, to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Responsibilities include inspecting machinery, diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and coordinating with production and engineering teams while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards in a regulated manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field is beneficial.

Role Description

The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role located in Santa Rosa, CA. This role is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment, including plastic injection molding machines and related systems, to support safe, reliable operations. Day-to-day activities include inspecting machinery, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing repairs, and executing preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime. The Maintenance Technician will document maintenance work, support equipment installations and upgrades, and coordinate with production and engineering teams to prioritize tasks. This role also involves adhering to safety protocols, maintaining tools and spare parts inventory, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong equipment maintenance and industrial maintenance skills for manufacturing and facility systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance & repair of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
• Experience planning and performing preventive maintenance on production and support equipment.
• Working knowledge of injection molding equipment or similar industrial machinery is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Commitment to safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field is beneficial.
• Previous experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic in manufacturing is strongly preferred.

Compensation

$45/hr to $60/hr

PTO and Sick Time
