Job summary

Brookdale in California is seeking a Maintenance Technician to upkeep the interior and exterior of community buildings and grounds. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevators, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, and kitchen equipment while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will respond to maintenance requests and coordinate with officials as needed.

Qualifications

• Maintenance Technician duties include scheduled and unscheduled upkeep on HVAC, elevators, fire/sprinkler systems, generators, landscaping, and kitchen equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests by community directors and residents in private and public areas.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant\u2019s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Qualifications

Requirements to be a Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technicians will maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on, but not limited to: HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, kitchen equipment and emergency pull cord equipment. Maintenance Technicians will also perform general maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned and respond to maintenance requests by community directors and residents in both private rooms and public living areas. They will also maintain positive communication with local fire marshal, building inspector and any other jurisdictions governing the community.
