LBA Hospitality's Westin San Antonio North is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep across the hotel, ensuring safety and guest comfort. Strong electrical, HVAC, plumbing knowledge and tool use are essential.

You'll complete maintenance documentation, follow safety and brand standards, assist with housekeeping tasks as needed, and support a friendly guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools and safe operating practices.
• Dependable, service-focused, and a team player.
• Must meet company security clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel.
• Troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fixtures.

• Identify and report hazardous conditions.

The Maintenance Technician assists with repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep to ensure the hotel remains safe, functional, and well maintained while providing friendly, professional guest service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel.
• Troubleshoot and assist with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Maintain hotel grounds and ensure maintenance equipment is in proper working condition.
• Complete assigned maintenance documentation.
• Identify and immediately report or correct hazardous conditions.
• Follow all safety, security, and brand standards.
• Assist guests professionally and protect guest privacy.
• Assist with houseman duties when assigned.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

Physical & Scheduling Requirements

• Must be able to push/pull up to 100 lbs. and lift/carry up to 60 lbs. unassisted.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and bend, reach, climb ladders, crawl, and kneel.
• May work outdoors in hot or cold conditions.
• Must have scheduling flexibility, including nights and weekends.
• This is an on-site hotel position.
