Tulsa Volunteers of America of Oklahoma, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Salina, Kansas to perform preventive and corrective property maintenance on senior and disabled housing communities.

This on-site role supports plumbing, electrical, carpentry, heating and cooling systems, and other building components in a friendly, service-driven environment. The position offers an 8:00–17:00 weekday schedule, on-call emergency coverage, and opportunities to contribute to safe, well-maintained

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs such as drywall repair, painting, doors, and fixtures.
• Conduct routine maintenance on building systems and property equipment.
• Daily property inspections for cleanliness and proper function; maintain records for preventive maintenance and service requests.
• Complete unit turnovers and participate in on-call rotations for after-hours emergencies.

Our commitment to service-enriched housing offers the quality of life they deserve.**What You Will Do**As the Maintenance Technician, you will be the frontline of scheduled maintenance and property improvements in the complexes which our residents live. Responsible for the prompt and efficient preventive and corrective maintenance of the property to which assigned. The Maintenance Technicianwill perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. This is an on-site position at and independent living, apartment communities for seniors and residents with disabilities.
