Job Summary:

We’re looking for a hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our team! You’ll make sure our facilities are operating efficiently, regularly inspect buildings for any damage, and conduct routine maintenance on our equipment to keep it running smoothly. The ideal person for this job is a reliable team player and a problem solver who has some prior maintenance experience. Hours can average 30-40 in winter and 40-50 in warmer weather. We work until the work is professional and complete! Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Our company does a large range of jobs from carpet cleaning and unit trash outs to plumbing. Anything property maintenance. May be required to help on other jobs, manual labor such as dig-ups, bags of cement, and work as a team. Special large jobs get bonuses accordingly.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs.
• Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs.
• Keep a record of completed repairs and when the equipment was last serviced.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks.
• Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems.
• Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques.
• Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends.
• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
• OSHA certification or willingness to undergo safety training.
