Job summary

ARaymond is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift in the United States (Rochester Hills, MI area). You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on presses and related equipment, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

A High School diploma is required with 5 years of related experience; SAP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read electrical/hydraulic blueprints and ladder logic.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and repair of injection molding machines and robotics.
• Familiarity with SAP data entry and maintenance logs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs on injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and robotics.
• Fabricate and repair equipment as needed.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed.
• Perform building maintenance as needed.
• Work overtime as needed.

Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on all presses and equipment, along with some building maintenance. Participates in Continuous Improvement activities to support company objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs on injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and robotics.
• Fabricate and repair equipment as needed.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed.
• Perform building maintenance as needed.
• Use of safe job procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Other related duties and/or projects as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years’ experience working in a maintenance repair position.
• Previous experience in injection molding machine maintenance/ repair - preferred but not required.
• Some knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC) - preferred but not required.
• Some knowledge of robotics - preferred but not required.
• Some college courses or technical school - preferred but not required.
• SAP experience - preferred but not required.

Skills and Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic blueprints and ladder logic.
• Basic computer skills for entering data in the preventative maintenance database (SAP).
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work closely with others in a collaborative team environment.
• Professional demeanor and ethical conduct, including handling confidential information appropriately.
• Frequent bending, twisting, climbing, and walking.
• Ability to climb a ladder.
• Able to lift up to 55 pounds.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.Must be able to work in the U.S.
