Job summary

Reynolds Consumer Products LLC in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, reducing downtime and boosting reliability on our manufacturing line. This role focuses on mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and requires hands-on problem solving.

The shift is 12-hour rotating days/nights with hours from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Local candidates only; pay is $33.17 per hour with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read mechanical schematics, assembly drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Familiar with maintenance systems and CMMS documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team with multiple crafts.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on production machinery and support equipment.
• Diagnose issues with drive components, bearings, chains, belts, conveyors, gearboxes, and pneumatics.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to support plant reliability goals.
• Coordinate with Machinists, Electricians, and Operators to safely return equipment to service.
• Record work performed, time, and parts used in the CMMS system.
• Assist in equipment setups, alignments, and mechanical adjustments.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
• Follow all plant safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout and housekeeping standards.

Shift Schedule: 12 Hour 2/2/3 RotatingShift Hours: 8:00PM-8:00AM/8:00AM-8:00PM*Shift will rotate from days to nights on a monthly basis

Responsibilities

Your Role:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to minimize downtime and improve overall reliability. This position focuses on diagnosing mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and performing mechanical repairs and adjustments on manufacturing machinery.

Requirements

We need you to have:
