Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair property buildings and grounds, ensuring vacant units are prepared for occupancy. The role requires hands-on maintenance, tool inventory, and adherence to safety policies.

The position offers full-time hours with on-call duties, plus benefits and incentive programs. You will work to keep properties safe, clean, and well-maintained while delivering excellent service to residents.

Qualifications

• Property maintenance/handyman experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily repair and upkeep of property and vacant units preparation.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding property or residents.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform.
• Follow OSHA standards and safety policies.
• Be available for on-call work.
• Secure maintenance shops at close of day.
• Remove snow and ice as needed.
• Handle lock-outs and respond to service requests 24/7.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician!

Maintenance Technicians Maintain the efficient operation and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds in a supportive role.

Responsibilities Include

• Take responsibility for the daily repair and upkeep of the property and the preparation of vacant units for occupancy
• Maintain and keep an inventory of all supplies and equipment
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
• Maintain the required property uniform ensuring a professional appearance
• Be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times
• Be available to work on an on-call basis
• Secure the maintenance shop(s) at the close of every workday
• Remove snow and ice as necessary
• Handle all lock-outs as a result of evictions and take responsibility for 24-hour response to service requests

Compensation:

Full-Time $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
