Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician provides general maintenance to the presses, cutters and finishing production lines to ensure they are working effectively including: Troubleshooting, Repairing, Installing, and Adjusting parts. This position works Monday-Thursday 1:45pm-11:45pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance checks on all equipment and follow preventative maintenance procedures
• Ensure proper safety and OSHA regulations; administer lock-out tag-out procedures on any unsafe equipment that is in need of repairs
• Support the installation, development and startup of new processes
• Properly document procedures and maintain maintenance records
• Maintain inventory and good repair of all assigned tools and equipment
• Communicate essential information regarding incomplete repairs at shift change
• Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Technician or equivalent
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Knowledge of electrical power and control voltage
• Troubleshooting PLC devices, printers and labeler; Pneumatic and hydraulic
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic wiring diagrams
• Basic computer and math skills
• Forklift and scissor lift experience
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout shift
