Job summary

Urban Air Raleigh is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician responsible for the upkeep and appearance of all attractions and related equipment. You will assist with repairs and preventive maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires the ability to read diagnostics, use hand tools, and maintain a safe work area while following OSHA guidelines. Night/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED, or 1 year related experience.
• Basic knowledge of safety practices and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Keep accurate documentation of repairs and parts inventory.
• Assist with the repair of equipment, troubleshooting of issues, and maintenance of attractions in good working order.
• Maintain a tidy work area and back end.
• Ensure adequate supply of tools and equipment.
• Read and interpret diagnostics from manuals.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow supervisor guidance.
• Attend to shifts and maintain regular attendance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

This role will be responsible for the maintenance and appearance of all attractions. The Attractions Technician will assist with facilitating the repair and maintenance of our attractions and any associated equipment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

This role will be responsible for the maintenance and appearance of all attractions. The Attractions Technician will assist with facilitating the repair and maintenance of our attractions and any associated equipment. Responsibilities

• Keep accurate documentation of repairs and parts inventory
• Assist with the repair of equipment, troubleshooting of issues, and maintenance of Attractions in superior working order
• Responsible for maintaining work area and back end in a neat and orderly manner
• Maintain an adequate supply of tools and machinery
• Read and interpret diagnostics from manual(s)
• Maintain a safe work environment and assist Supervisor to ensure staff adheres to all safety rules
• Advise Supervisor on any problems and/or potential problems discovered during maintenance of Attractions
• Ability to work various shifts and regular attendance is a requirement for the role
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills And Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or minimum of one (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Some knowledge of amusement equipment is preferred but not required
• Work flexibility (nights, weekends and holidays, as needed)
• Basic working knowledge of hand tools
• General knowledge of related OSHA regulations and safety practices

Physical Requirements

• Work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
• Move about facility and stand for long periods of time (over 2/3 of the time)
• Standing, kneeling, bending, walking, reaching above shoulder, pushing and pulling
• Requires ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 300 lbs. (70+ pounds with the assistance of a dolly)
• Ability to wear personal protective gear
• While performing the duties of this job, the Attractions Technician is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, climb, and use hands and fingers to operate various tools (i.e. drills, ladders, chemicals, etc.).
