Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mechatronics and Robotics Technician for front half-night shifts to support maintenance of building systems and automated material handling.

You will diagnose, repair, and optimize MHE and robotic equipment while ensuring safety protocols and documenting preventative maintenance tasks. Working within CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, you will collaborate with the Client and Operations Maintenance teams to keep packaging/distribution equipment operating efficiently,

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment (MHE) and robotics systems.
• Ability to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Capable of completing preventative maintenance routines and documenting them.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and operation of building systems inside a client facility.
• Repair, maintain, and improve functionality of MHE and robotic systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Foster positive working relationships with Client and Operations Maintenance teams.

About the Role

In this vital role, you will support the maintenance and operation of the building systems inside a client facility. You will repair, maintain, and continuously improve functionality of material handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility.

What You’ll Do

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to all MHE, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.
