NALS Apartment Homes in Port Orchard, WA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our community operations. You will handle routine maintenance tasks, respond to service requests, and ensure apartments are prepared for new residents.

The role requires experience in property maintenance, knowledge of building systems, and the ability to work a 40-hour week with on-call rotation, including some weekend coverage. A valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Property maintenance experience preferred.
• Painting experience required or preferred.
• Knowledge of building systems and service requests handling.
• Understanding of the unit turn process.
• Plumbing, pool and spa knowledge beneficial.
• Familiar with appliance and electrical repairs; roofing basics.
• Valid driver’s license may be required; auto insurance likely.
• 40-hour work week with on-call rotation; weekend on-call may be required.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors in various weather; physical stamina to lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform service requests, callbacks, and work orders promptly and correctly.
• Complete maintenance make-ready sheets.
• Turn vacant apartments for the next residents.
• Maintain pools, spas, and related chemical testing.
• Keep property grounds, shop, and common areas in good order.
• Respond to after-hour calls and emergencies.
• Take on additional duties or projects as assigned.

We are looking to add two skilled Maintenance Technicians to our team atMariner's Glen Apartment Homes, located in Port Orchard, WA.

What you will do

• Ensure all service requests, callbacks, and/or work orders are performed properly and promptly
• Complete assigned maintenance make-ready sheets
• Turn vacant apartments
• Maintain pools and spas, including chemical testing and furniture cleanliness
• Maintain property grounds, workplace, and maintenance shop
• Respond to after-hour calls and emergencies
• Perform additional duties, responsibilities, or projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Property maintenance experience preferred
• Painting experience
• Skills relating to all building systems
• Knowledge and understanding of the unit turn process
• Knowledge in plumbing and pool and spa
• Familiar with appliance repair, electrical repairs, and basic roofing repairs
• Valid drivers’ license and current auto insurance may be required
• 40-hour work week, including on-call rotation; weekend availability required while on-call
• Working inside and outside in all types of weather
• Medium to heavy work, requiring prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting to a maximum of 100 lbs., with frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs.
• Good hand and eye coordination are essential, including the ability to ascend and descend ladders and stairs, and perform repetitive/continuous tasks according to set procedures and sequences
