Job summary

Arvato, a leading global 3PL service provider, seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep facility operations running smoothly. You will maintain conveyance and automation systems, perform installations and repairs, and coordinate preventative maintenance with the team.

The role requires diagnosing material handling and building automation systems, strong teamwork, and proactive problem-solving. The position is on-site in a 12:30 PM–9:00 PM shift, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician at Arvato, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by maintaining conveyance and automation systems, completing installations, repairs, and assigned projects throughout the facility. You’ll work closely with the team to coordinate preventative maintenance efforts and be ready to respond quickly to breakdowns or emergencies to keep operations running efficiently.

Shift: Monday- Friday, 12:30 PM- 9:00 PM

YOUR TASKS

• Ensuring the continuous operation of Hardware Fixtures, equipment and tools
• Identifying the causes of equipment malfunctions and downtime, and implementing preventive measures
• Preparation of checklists and supplementary instructions for the technical documentation
• Maintaining and servicing Hardware Fixtures, equipment and tools
• Collaborating and troubleshooting with external service providers
• Implementation of optimizations

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to utilize computers/computer-based monitoring equipment to diagnose material handling systems and building automation systems.
• Must be team-oriented
• Possess excellent computer skills
• Must possess strong analytical/problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be self-directed and goal-oriented
• Must have knowledge of commercial power distribution
• Advanced diagnostic/troubleshooting skills

• Able to lead/direct projects and repairs in all areas of the floor as assigned by the Manager
