Job summary

Evenflo Company, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician in Ohio to perform preventive maintenance on injection molding machines and related equipment.

You will inspect electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components and ensure safety devices function properly. You will maintain accurate repair and PM records, support manufacturing teams, and participate in safety programs while upholding housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/technical certification in a relevant trade (e.g., HVAC, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance) highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive maintenance experience, including at least 2 years as a Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on injection molding machines and equipment.
• Change oil and filters on machines and equipment.
• Inspect electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Ensure safety devices and features are functioning properly.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and PMs as required by the Maintenance Department.
• Conduct maintenance and repairs on additional plant systems, including Lighting and Auxiliary equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in accordance with housekeeping standards.
• Support manufacturing teams as needed.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures at all times.
• Actively participate in company safety programs and initiatives.
• Complete special projects as assigned by the Facility Engineering and Maintenance Manager.

Education and Experience

• Ability to stand and remain mobile for a minimum of 8 hours.
