Job summary

Gables Residential is seeking Maintenance Technicians to support our community by handling HVAC, plumbing, electrical repairs, and general maintenance. You will help sustain a high standard of living for residents and respond to on-call shifts as part of a rotating schedule.

You will contribute to preventative maintenance programs, inspections, and repairs to vacant and occupied units, ensuring safety and comfort across the property.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, unit inspections, preventative maintenance, and related trades.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the community and ensure the quality of living spaces for residents.
• Respond to on-call needs on a rotational basis throughout the year.
• Complete day-to-day maintenance tasks and meet deadlines for community needs.

The Role

Our Maintenance Technicians are resourceful learners who have a knack for solving mechanical challenges. From touch-up paint to plumbing and electrical repairs you approach obstacles head-on. You deliver a positive living experience for our residents by maintaining the community and taking care of the way they live with our “signature service”.

You Are…

• Solution-driven and effective in managing HVAC repairs, plumbing/electrical installations, and general repairs throughout the community.
• Flexible in your ability to serve on call on a rotational basis any 7 days of the week 52 weeks of the year.
• Task-oriented and punctual, you’re comfortable working through day-to-day tasks while meeting required deadlines for reoccurring community needs.
• Experienced in building maintenance, unit inspections, preventative maintenance, and related trades.
• Committed to the community’s overall appearance and motivated to ensure that all vacant and occupied apartment homes are held to the Gables Standard.
