Job summary

Agropur Cooperative recrute pour un poste permanent de maintenance/réparation dans une unité de production. Le rôle exige des compétences mécaniques et électriques, une aptitude à la communication et la capacité de suivre des instructions et de résoudre des problèmes pratiques.

Horaires 2/2/3 nuits, 18h00 à 06h00, avec un salaire horaire démarrant entre 30,33 et 36,56 USD, plus 1,50 USD/h pour le poste de nuit. Avantages complets et possibilités d’augmentations dans la première année.

Qualifications

• Expérience en maintenance et réparation exigée.
• Aptitudes mécaniques et électriques requises.
• Capacité à communiquer efficacement à l’écrit et à l’oral avec les responsables et collègues.
• Capacité à suivre des instructions écrites, orales et schémas; résoudre des problèmes concrets et abstraits.

Responsibilities

• Communiquer efficacement avec les équipes des postes précédents et suivants.
• Travailler avec les superviseurs de production pour répondre aux questions et recueillir les informations nécessaires.
• Effectuer les réparations ou remplacements de valves et pompes (seals, steams, O-rings, seats, bearings, etc.).
• Réaliser le câblage électrique (interrupteurs, prises, démarrage, câbles moteurs).
• Réaliser le soudage sanitaire et l’appointage de tuyauterie (inox, cuivre, pvc).
• Réaliser les inspections utilitaires (fours, systèmes d’air, WWTP, eau, ammonia, HVAC, sécurité), et ajuster au besoin.
• Mettre à jour et installer les équipements.
• Effectuer les interventions de maintenance préventive et corrective durant les opérations d’emballage/production.
• Préparer et mettre en place les machines pour les productions programmées.
• Minimiser les temps d’arrêt tout en garantissant la qualité.
• Connaître les procédés de tous les secteurs de l’usine.
• Lire et interpréter les manuels et ordres de travail.

Shift time

• 2/2/3 Nights 6pm to 6am

Your role in achieving results

• Effectively communicate with crew from previous and current shifts.
• Work closely with production Supervisors, line leaders and production crews to answer questions and receive as much information as possible to perform the work successfully.
• Efficiently repair/replace valves and pumps (seals, steams, O rings, seats, bearings, etc.)
• Effectively perform electrical wiring (switches, outlets, starter, motor leads, etc.).
• Effectively perform sanitary welding and moderate pipe fitting (stainless, copper, pvc, etc.).
• Perform utility inspections (boilers, air systems, WWTP, water systems, ammonia, HVAC, security, etc.), adjusting as needed.
• Effectively update and install equipment.
• Efficiently perform regular and preventative maintenance related to the plant, equipment, and grounds in compliance with standard operating procedures, good manufacturing practices, and safety policies as enforced by OSHA.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment during the packaging/production process as needed.
• Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Work closely with production to minimize downtime while maintaining quality.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all plant area processes.
• Accurately read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of all plant area processes.
• Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.

Safety Protocol

• Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
• Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
• Support safety policies and programs.

• Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience Required: Maintenance/repair experience or training required.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude required.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with managers and colleagues.
