The Horsham Center for Jewish Life in North Wales, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our campus running smoothly. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations to buildings, equipment, and grounds, ensuring safety and efficient operation.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1+ year maintenance experience, strong mechanical aptitude, good teamwork skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. HVAC, plumbing, and electrical system experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or degree preferred.
• 1+ year of maintenance or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations to buildings, equipment, and grounds.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and repair equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of work and parts used.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs.

Maintenance Technician

The Horsham Center for Jewish Life is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. Located in picturesque North Wales, Pennsylvania, our 70+ acre campus offers a unique environment for seniors to thrive. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations to our buildings, equipment, and grounds. Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations to buildings, equipment, and grounds to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other building systems
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions and breakdowns
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure seamless delivery of services
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs

Requirements:
