The role runs 8am-4:30pm, on-site, with pay of $22.00 per hour, and requires 3+ years maintenance experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and sheetrock. Candidate must be reliable and able to work independently.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of maintenance experience required.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Carpentry, painting, and sheetrock experience helpful.
• General mechanical knowledge required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the facility.

Maintenance Technician

Location: Newark, NJ Position: Maintenance Technician Status: Full-time / On-site

8am - 4:30pm

$22.00/hr.

Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician will perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, and upkeep throughout the school's facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the facility
• Assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and sheetrock repairs
• Complete routine preventative maintenance
• Install and repair equipment and appliances
• Report completed and outstanding work to the Facilities Manager
• Work alongside maintenance staff and outside contractors as needed

• 3+ years of maintenance experience
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Carpentry, painting, and sheetrock experience

Physical Requirements

• This position requires extensive standing and walking throughout the school and its facilities.
• Must be comfortable being on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to move throughout the property and respond to maintenance needs as they arise
• Must be able to perform general physical maintenance duties throughout the workday
