Job summary

Veolia is seeking a general maintenance technician to upkeep the facility, performing plumbing, electrical, welding, and carpentry tasks. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, oil changes on forklifts, minor repairs, and coordinating with vendors for facility repairs.

  • Purchase equipment/supplies for facility related repairs.

Job Description

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required
  • Two or more years of maintenance experience

  • General knowledge in maintenance, specifically in carpentry, plumbing, welding and electrical skills
  • General knowledge of working with smalls pumps and motors
  • Ability to read and understand manuals to assist in repairs
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekend hours
