Cressy Management is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for our Indiana properties, Monday through Friday. You will maintain assigned properties to company standards, perform routine checks, and troubleshoot issues while delivering strong client-facing communication.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of maintenance experience, basic tools, and a working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and building trades. A high school diploma or GED is required; EPA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school preferred.
• 1–2 years maintenance or related field experience.
• Mechanical knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and building trades.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Must have own basic tools and valid driver’s license.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned properties according to company standards.
• Conduct routine checks and service equipment to prevent failures.
• Some heavy lifting of furniture and equipment.
• Troubleshoot problems and make repairs.
• Provide excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Perform all duties per applicable laws and company policies.

About the role

We are currently seeking a full-time experienced Maintenance Technician to work Monday through Friday.

What you’ll do

Responsibilities include the following:

• Ensure that each assigned property is maintained according to company standards
• Conduct routine checks and service equipment to prevent failures
• Some heavy lifting of furniture and equipment
• Troubleshoot problems and make repairs
• Provide excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Perform all the above and other related duties as assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies

Qualifications

This position requires the following skills and qualifications:

• Technical school preferred, High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent field
• A general mechanical knowledge of plumbing, electrical and building trades
• Proficient in reading, writing, grammar and mathematical skills
• Possess your own basic tools to perform building maintenance
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (both required)
• EPA Universal Certification preferred
