This position works with and supports all co-workers and teams within the production process.**The Role:** This position works with production equipment to perform corrective and preventative maintenance for better equipment operation and process flow.## Responsibilities & Qualifications**Responsibilities:*** Performs corrective maintenance and repairing on equipment used in the electronic industry* Performs scheduled preventative maintenance and work orders assigned on equipment used in the electronic industry* Ability to understand and use work instructions, manufacturing instructions, and equipment manuals to troubleshoot and resolves equipment issues* Assists Production Machine Operators in troubleshooting equipment problems successfully, work with leadership on training and process improvements* Assist with production machine start-up/shut-down as needed* Participates in continuous improvement activities* Complies and follows all company safety policies and procedures* Operates production equipment when production is short-staffed* Be a mentor for production operators* Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned**Qualifications include but not limited to:*** Experience working in manufacturing required* Electro-mechanical background preferred* 2-year Technical degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience* Working knowledge of productivitytools, examples may include Microsoft Office and quality management software* Must demonstrate mechanical competency* Ability to use hand/power tools* Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, and independent judgment. Uses professional and respectful communication with others* Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Effective organization and prioritization skills* Demonstrate high attention to detail* Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools* The ability to work extended hours and weekends on a rotating schedule if needed* Ability to pass standard position assessment within 90 days of employment* Military experience in electronic installation/repair, mechanical repair, and facility maintenance a plus**Physical Requirements:*** Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds* Frequent standing, bending and reaching**Travel:*** Limited travel between all RIS facilities* Infrequent travel for trainings and/or business needs may be required**Work Environment:*** Manufacturing production floor
