Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing conveyors, bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, motors, and shafts, with emphasis on alignment and drive system tension.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing production line equipment.
• Capable of performing preventive maintenance tasks.
• Familiar with safety procedures and food safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, motors, and shafts.
• Replace and align chains/sprockets and tension drive systems.
• Remove and replace bearings, shafts, and housings using proper fits and lubrication.
• Align motors and shafts using mounts, shims, and straight edges.
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting, motor wiring, and use a multimeter.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Complete preventive maintenance independently.
