Job summary

Heritage at Irene Woods is seeking a hospitality-focused Maintenance Tech to oversee the care and maintenance of the community's physical plant and to support a preventative maintenance program.

You will respond to service requests promptly, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and manage parts and controls for HVAC and related systems in a senior living setting. A culture of hospitality guides all interactions with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Associates Degree or equivalent in relevant education, training and experience.
• Maintenance supervisor experience (preferred).
• HVAC (preferred).

• Ensure all equipment and systems function properly and safely; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain level of service repair parts for electrical, plumbing, lighting, HVAC, hardware, and other equipment, and adjust controls as needed.

Heritageat Irene Woods is recruiting for a hospitality focused Maintenance Tech to join our team! This role is responsible for overseeing the care and maintenance of all aspects of the community’s physical plant to include maintaining an effective preventative maintenance program.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Maintenance Tech:

• Provide residents and staff with a timely and effective response to service requests.
• Ensure all equipment and systems function properly and safely. Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations/ordinances.
• Maintain proper level of service repair parts for electrical, plumbing, laundry, lighting, refrigeration, HVAC, hardware, locks, batteries, tools, expendable supplies, emergency telephone and security equipment based on past and expected usage. Maintain and adjust computerized controls for HVAC and other equipment as necessary.
