• Experience using hand and power tools; able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to climb ladders, work at heights, and stand for extended periods.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues.
• Clear conveyor jams and restore equipment to operation quickly.
• Inspect, clean, and adjust sensors, barcode scanners, switches, and automation components.
• Support maintenance of automated systems and warehouse equipment.
• Repair warehouse infrastructure, including racking, dock equipment, safety barriers, and lighting.
• Complete work orders and document activities using a CMMS.
• Assist with equipment inspections and identify maintenance concerns.
• Partner with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety procedures and maintenance standards.

Schedule: Evening Shift

• Tuesday - Friday: 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM (flexible based on business needs)
• Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

About the Role

The Maintenance Technician helps keep a high-volume fulfillment center running safely and efficiently by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing repairs. This role supports automated warehouse systems, conveyor equipment, and facility infrastructure that are critical to healthcare operations and order fulfillment.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in industrial maintenance, warehouse maintenance, automation, conveyor systems, manufacturing, or fulfillment operations.

What You Will Do

• Perform preventative maintenance on conveyor systems, sortation equipment, and material handling equipment (MHE)
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues
• Clear conveyor jams and help restore equipment to operation quickly
• Inspect, clean, and adjust sensors, barcode scanners, switches, and other automation components
• Support maintenance of automated systems and warehouse equipment
• Repair warehouse infrastructure, including racking, dock equipment, safety barriers, and lighting
• Complete work orders and document maintenance activities using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
• Assist with equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance concerns
• Partner with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime
• Follow all safety procedures and maintenance standards

Basic Requirements

• Typically, minimum 0-2 years of relevant experience. May have degree or equivalent
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, warehouse maintenance, manufacturing, automation, or a related field
• Experience performing preventative maintenance and equipment repairsExperience troubleshooting mechanical systems
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and stand for extended periods
• Ability to work in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment

Preferred Skills / Experience

• Experience working with conveyor systems, sortation equipment, or material handling equipment (MHE)
• Experience in automated warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, or healthcare fulfillment operations
• Familiarity with electrical systems, motors, belts, chains, gears, sensors, and control circuits
• Experience working with CMMS, warehouse control systems (WCS), or maintenance tracking software
• Exposure to PLCs, automation equipment, or automated guided vehicles (AGVs)
• Technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Work Environment

• On-site role in a fast-paced fulfillment and distribution center
• Evening Schedule:
  • Tuesday - Friday: 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM (flexible)
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting
• Work around conveyors, automation equipment, and warehouse machinery
• May require working at heights using ladders or aerial lifts
• Safety-focused environment supporting healthcare and fulfillment operations
• Overtime or schedule flexibility may be required based on operational needs
