Dietz Property Group is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for one of our premier apartment communities in Marysville, OH. You will handle repairs, preventative maintenance, and unit rehabilitations to keep the property safe and well-maintained.

The successful candidate will provide quality service to residents, perform inspections, and collaborate with the Community Director to schedule work in a rotating on-call cycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or skilled trades is desirable and training is provided.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varied weather conditions.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to be in on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests, preventive maintenance, and unit rehabilitation as scheduled.
• Perform property and unit inspections and ensure follow-up work is completed.

OVERVIEW:

As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for the repair and upkeep of our apartment community. This includes, but is not limited to, providing exemplary service to the community's residents, timely completion of service requests, performing preventative maintenance and unit inspections/rehabilitation as scheduled by the Community Director.

JOB DUTIES:

• Complete service requests, preventive maintenance, and unit rehabilitation as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Community Director.
• Complete required property and unit inspections and ensure any follow-up work is completed as scheduled.
• Provide quality and professional service to residents.
• Ensure that all equipment, vehicles and shop areas are kept clean.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Any experience in maintenance, construction, a skilled trade, home repair, or as a maintenance tech would be highly desirable, but we will train and mentor the right individual for a rewarding career in property management!
• Ability to frequently push or pull up to 50 lbs., occasionally lift up to 75 lbs., kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Customer service skills
• Ability to be in the on-call rotation

WORK SCHEDULE:
