Job summary

International Paper in Manitowoc, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm) on a Monday-Friday schedule. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of production equipment to maximize runnability.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years in manufacturing, and completion of journeyman electrical or industrial mechanic/millwright/apprenticeship programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of industrial experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Completion of a journeyman electrical apprenticeship or a journeyman industrial mechanic/millwright apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment to optimize runnability through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of machines.
• Accurately complete administrative documents and follow directions.
• Troubleshoot industrial, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical failures and correct them.
• Demonstrate technical experience, reliability and ability to work independently.
