Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of Industrial Maintenance experience required.

This position could be on Day or Night Shift, based on applicant preference.

DAY SHIFT - 5:00AM TO 3:00PM OR NIGHT SHIFT - 3:30PM to 1:30PM

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE: As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for executing work orders and projects to support production and safety requirements. The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in minimizing equipment downtime, enhancing quality, and optimizing schedule performance through continuous improvement initiatives.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
  • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Travel to Upfit & Service Centers (USC’s) to assist with projects as needed.
  • Flexible work schedule and ability to share “On Call” responsibilities during off hours.
  • Ability to communicate with Equipment Service Techs to troubleshoot and limit downtime issues.
  • Must have knowledge of buildings, grounds, and equipment used at Henderson Products.
  • May be assigned related duties other than those specified.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of Industrial Maintenance experience.
    • Preferred knowledge – mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, HVAC, hydraulic, and welding background.
      • Construction background knowledge a plus.
  • Capable of operating hand, power and specialized tools.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
  • Certified or ability to be certified in operating forklift, skid loader, man lift, tugger, etc.
  • Knowledge of computers and operating systems
