Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Maintenance Technician at Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, IL. The role requires a problem-solver mindset and a commitment to safety, with morning and afternoon/evening shifts for full-time employment.

Responsibilities include servicing/plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and general upkeep, with a focus on keeping facilities safe and functional. Valid driver’s license and 2+ years of related experience are expected.

• Hold appropriate license/certification for the city/state work.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs or installations, or vehicle servicing.
• Performs tasks such as changing light bulbs, installing paper dispenser units, changing filters, changing locks on doors, minor decorative maintenance and other tasks not requiring a licensed skilled trades person or journeyman
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Workdays/shifts: Weekdays – morning and afternoon/evening shifts. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour - $25.00 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a Maintenance Technician at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. Your knowledge and technical skills are critical to meet maintenance needs. By keeping others safe, your actions have meaningful impact.
